Hemorrhoids

Hemorrhoids

Man and monkey have hemorrhoids, the price of being two legged creatures. Hemorrhoids are
external which are skin tags and internal which are blood vessels. The internal hemorrhoids can
shrink in size or balloon up especially during the act of straining or if there is significant swelling
of the abdomen and an impediment to the blood flow. This latter issue is seen in pregnant
females, individuals with constipation or significant fluid in the abdomen.

The hemorrhoids can itch, swell, and also bleed. Surgery is avoided for they can reoccur and
also the scarring caused can lead to narrowing of the anal opening. Moreover, symptomatic
hemorrhoids are transient and avoidance constipation and use of local creams/ suppositories
that are steroid based can assist in relieving the symptoms
